Hello, my name is Julia Knyupa

I am a professional graphic recorder and visual facilitator based in the UK, originally from Ukraine. With a rich background in journalism, workshop facilitation, coaching, and visual communication, I've spent the last seven years turning complex ideas into visually engaging stories that capture and captivate audiences.

My project, «Draw Attention», specializes in creating memorable visual summaries for diverse events across the UK and internationally, both on paper and digitally. I am committed to values of diversity, empathy, and crystal-clear communication, ensuring that each visual map captures the essence of the event and resonates deeply and inclusively.

From working with major organizations like the World Health Organization and the United Nations to engaging in graphic recording at the Parliament of Ukraine, I consistently aim to provoke thought and stimulate creative thinking. My work, including the "Collection of Voices" for MitOst and a TEDx talk in Chernihiv on creative confidence, transforms presentations into impactful, performative art.

My unique style features visual metaphors, developed under the guidance of Dario Paniagua, and innovative material use, like exploring different paper textures, which I researched in my Master’s in Illustration in the UK. These techniques ensure that each project is not only informative but uniquely captivating.

Choosing to work with me means partnering with a strategic visual thinker dedicated to enhancing your ideas beyond traditional text and speech
